Just joined up from Middle Georgia
New member here from the heart of GA. I searched for this forum as a result of a disagreement with a friend about the semi-cocked mechanism in a Glock that is completed during the trigger pull. My friend says this is not possible, and I know it is. However, I found a thread on this very subject, and it seems forum members can't even agree, so I have contacted Glock the company for clarification.
I purchased a model 22 about when they were first introduced around 1990 and have never had a misfire or hangup.

There is a great animation showing how a glock works. As I understand the pistol is somewhat cocked and the action of pulling the trigger finishes cocking it all the way.
