Recommend A Full Size 9mm(non polymer frame)

Have owned several 9mm's over the years, mostly Sigs and Glocks and even one 1911. Currently don't own a 9mm, but getting the bug again.

Looking for a all steel type full size 9mm. Alloy frame is okay. NO polymers. Just not interested in this case. I like polymer guns...just not for this though.

Currently eyeballing Browing Hi Power, CZ75 and Beretta 92 (probably an Italian manufacture on that one)

Opinions wanted on the ones I'm looking at and any others I should consider. Purpose would be plinking and home defense. Not for carry, I've got others to fill that role.

Thanks.

Beretta 92.

There is no difference between an Italian and US 92 except for "oh yeah honey, it's Italian, which makes me feel awesome."

I favor the Sig P226 in a full size 9mm.

CZ 75 SP 01:
Shadow version, if you want DA/SA, with manual ambi SA thumb safety for cocked and locked use/carry;
Tactical version, DA/SA, but with ambi decocking lever instead of the SA thumb safety.

Both come with 18rd mags. Probably the softest shooting 9mm out there.

CZ75 or CZ75 P01 just hold one in your hand and you will know why they are so popular.

Beretta all the way. My pick would be a M9A1 or a 90-Two.

The purpose of asking for a recommendation is - I think - to avoid buying something wrong. In this case, you list three top of the line guns and no matter what you choose you can't go wrong.

Buy them all, buy one you are good anyway. You didn't list a Sig, or a STI. Consider those too if you are in the mood to complicate your life.

That's odd, somebody told me you liked the "best" DA metal framed 9mm auto, so I took them at their word and assumed you were a CZ 75 fanMy bad.
