Don't know what to tell ya. Felt like that before for a long time. Married now, but no kids & most of my friends have moved away or started having kids & don't have time anymore. Add to that, 2 years of unemployment, job for 15 months & suddenly, unemployed again & I don't have a lot of contacts anymore either.
Found my wife 11 years ago @ church, when I wasn't really looking anymore. Good luck, it sucks being lonely, whether one is alone or not.

The longer I ponder this, the more I get out of it, it's meaning has grown and expanded greatly since I first read it many years ago. When I did first read it, I took it as a flowery "Harden the **** Up"-kinda thing, but it's subtlety has revealed itself gently to me over the years.
