Looks great! What height of rear sight did you put on the long slide?

The longslide has a stock plastic glock rear sight, and steel white dot front sight. Both are the same height as the stock G20/21 slides.

Here's a 6 shot grouping at 15yds on an 8" target. Freehand using the red dot sight. Still trying to get used to the new trigger, and jerked the one on the left pretty bad. I'm not a huge fan of the red dot and will probably be putting the stock rear sight back on this slide.
Unfortunately I didn't have time to take it out to 50yds. Hoping to grab some sand bags and give it a try soon

I really dislike red dots on pistols too, especially mounted up high.
However, when set low in the slide, with back up iron sights that co-index with the dot, they work really well.

I guess I should have made that clear... I was referring to reflex sights. I wouldn't like a red-dot either on a pistol. In fact, I returned my Bushnell red-dot back to Amazon after having it on my 22/45 for a week or two. Great sight but it really messes up the balance of the pistol too much. I will never have another scope / red-dot on a pistol, ever. Only exception would be an RMR.

Well, it's a Burris Fastfire, so I think that technically it's a reflex. Oddly enough, the biggest thing I didn't like was that it's about 1/2" higher than the stock sights. Also, for a follow up shot it took me too long to find the little red dot. I'm sure i would get better with practice though
Also having a slide melt with backup ironsights would help speed too

Well, I don't have any new range data, but I've changed my mind about the red dot. Shot a cottontail at 100yds yesterday evening

Updated 10mm Glock family pic.... with new G29SF
My current plan is to remove the Heinies from my G20SF and put them on my G29SF, then put either black rear adjustable / FO fronts -OR- some type of reflex sight (RMR, etc) on the G20SF.
Time will tell.

The one in front is a 10mm Cbob and the one in the back is a custom Delta Elite.

Not as fancy as the others, but new Gen 3 G20SF, dirty from her maiden voyage to the range, can't wait to start tinkering with reloads for this pistol

Nice one FireMedic.
I picked up a new G20SF earlier this month too. Haven't shot it yet, but I sure love that big ol' hand cannon. I carry and shoot my G29SF a lot and can't wait for cooler weather so I can start to CCW the 20. It's about as close as a guy can get to having a rifle under his jacket.

I might consider a G29SF for CCW, if I can get the idea of a Gen4 G23 out of my head, lol.
Right now the G19 is on my hip and when it gets cooler which is not very often here in FL, the G21 makes it out too.

Just when I thought I'd seen everything.... Andrew comes and posts this.
COOL!! Please tell me how you like the Fastfire and what kind of accuracy it enables you to get. And where did you get that bipod (or attachment)??
Please tell!
