That is prob the best price for an indoor range, there is one other near the Airport. It is smaller and can get crowded at times. Alabama Training Institute and Range.
Check membership at Pleasant Grove F.O.P. range, it is outdoors. We use a local dirt pit and a WMA range in Talladega and a membership at Moss Branch, a private range at Anniston Army Depot in Bynum. $100 a year for rifle, 200 yd rifle, Pistol range with plates provided, and 3 other pistol/shotgun bays.

My favorite shooting thing to do (for once you get pretty good punching paper and want to step it up) is shoot IDPA matches near Hoover. Brocks gap/ steel city IDPA.
I'm trying to get a little quicker for the carbine matches in the fall

Thanks G21FAN for the info ill check into it more! And thanks again everybody, loving the g19 shot bout 50 rounds so far and gonna go back this week sometime and shoot 100 more, shoots GREAT!

Thanks for the link! It looks like a nice facility, really like the outdoor shooting. Cant wait to try it out soon!
