I picked this up a few weeks ago from a bookstore. They ordered it for me, but me being as paranoid as I am, I gave a fake name and paid in cash. But then again, here I am posting online about it.
I really only bought it because I feel it's a book that many people in power wouldn't want me to have, plus I heard it had really cool stuff in it.
Not really as controversial or potentially dangerous as people say. It does tell you how to get high off peanuts or bananas, as well as how to score various drugs--back in 1970's New York.
It also describes the internals of a suppressor and claims to tell how to make one, but it's nothing a Google search couldn't turn up quicker and for free. The book describes various other things that could sound like someone educating a loosely-confederated militia, which I guess some of the hippies kind of were.
All in all, I'm glad I bought it. It's interesting to look over, and it'll sit nicely in my future home library--or will I call it a "study"?
