Jeff
Yep, PV was out of 320 too, for some time. When it came in, I ordered 8 lbs of it and 20K SPP and 5K LPP. When I get down to 4lbs, I'll be looking for more. Haven't used other VV powders but am considering 340 or 350 for 10mm loads.

I test fired some mg 124 gr. 1.125 OAL 4.7 WSF.
I haven't cronoed them yet but they were accurate and felt pretty good. I liked them enough to make up a couple hundred more to get the feel of at any rate.

Ask you buddy to group that 1008 fps load out to 25 then 50 yards.... that will tell you the truth.
My 135 Pf Bear Creek moly load will group 2 inches off sand bags at 50 yards out of both my Spartan 9mm and G34... will yours?
BTW, my 3 random loads chronographed officially at Washington State IDPA Championships at 1019, 1020, 1020... the consensus at state last year was known to be generous.

My last chrono of my loads in march shot 1020, 1027, 1029, 1022, and 1032 with the listed recipe. I was a little generous with the chrono speeds i listed for myself earlier, correction noted. about 20fps is what was gained off the additional barrel length of the G34 gen3.

And for the record, i've shot thousands of these weak and strong hand. I practice weak and stong a lot.

and i've shot the wings off a fly at 125 yards, kneeling, in the rain and heavy wind while my teammates blared lady gaga in 130 db in my ears to try to throw me off. beat that

That's the exact load I'm using for Production right now. I'm running a Jager polymer guide rod & 13# ISMI spring, but it also functions flawlessly with the factory RSA in my GEN 4 G17. I haven't chrono'd it yet either, but it shouldn't have a problem meeting Minor PF.

How do you like it compared to your previous loads? I'm interested to see what you think after shooting a match with them. After trying TG & WST, I'll be sticking with WSF from now on. I also like having the ability to use WSF to duplicate the velocities of factory 124gr +P JHP's. I would have never thought I'd be using the same powder for both.

My next IDPA match is in two weeks. I will have a better feel for it then.
It is more accurate than tightgroup for me. I started using tightgroup because almost everyone else in my IDPA group was. I have gone through several pounds of it. It may be a little softer than other powders but it is not as accurate as win 231 in 40 sw for me. We will see how WSF does in a couple of weeks.

I bought a 4# jug of Titegroup for the same reason. I also found WSF to produce more accurate loads in my guns. Now that I like WSF & WST for just about everything, I have about 3# of TG left (which I'm not all that interested in using up). If I can't sell it, I'll just save it for a rainy day...
