i am just starting out, have only owned a gun for just over a month. bought a 4th gen 35- but it wasn't the caliber- it was the better aim. feels exactly like a 9mm when it's fired, AND it was one of the few "in-stock" GLOCKS at the store. getting it in a 40 S&W was just a bonus. can't wait to take more classes.

That's a good choice.

It seems this debate will go on forever.
I'm actually fine w/ a 9mm & good medium wt +P JHP, but there is little benefit for me here in Kalif. The 9mm greatest attribute IMO, lots of rounds in high cap guns, I get only 10rds. Recoil, my splits are just about the same from 9mm to 40 to 45acp, platform matters more than caliber to me.

I see little benefit in Kalifornia as well, or is it Mexifornia now?
