"Uncle Mikes" has a kydex OC Paddle type. It isn't really "concealable yet it's a paddle type works well for the range but it is adjustable via two screws and different holes. Once you choose an angle loctite the screws or you will lose one (like I did)

I can't find a model number on it, but they make the same model for a bunch of pistols molded to the pistol.

My 9mm 2022 has been fantastic. I figure the .40 will be to. Can't find a better value in a quality handgun IMO. I paid $399 at buds for mine.

While I have lots of 40's ( my favorite round), my EDC is the 2022 with 180g HST.

It is my understanding the American made coatings are NOT as good as the European coatings due to Enviro issues and Greenies running the USA.

Mine has the Illafon (I thinks that's how you spell it) finish, which is shinier, darker and smoother than nitron. Both are good but not perfect. Having a gun that functions all the time is what counts.

With a few site in shots we were hitting a empty one gallon milk jug about 2 out of three times two handed at 50 yds with a 9mm Sig 2022. The USA Ionbond vapor coating used by Sig today and still called Nitron is the most durable finish Sig as used worldwide. And yes its on the SP2022 made in NH Exeter. There were a few generations of Sig Nitron finish and the USA is the best of the bunch. Same finish used on the the Navys Mk-25,s Slides. Hello salt water. One piece stainless slide coated with Ionbond Nitron finish same as 2022,s. The 2022 is a military&LE pistol overseas with near a Million in service in 6 countrys even sold some to the DEA,USA.

Anyone have any OC kydex holsters for the SP2022?
Can you point me in the right direction?

I liked mine a lot, never had any malfunctions but I probably put only 800 rounds through it. The one thing I didn't like was lack of aftermarket things for it, specifically holsters. I tried to carry it concealed but it just didn't work for me. I know many XD holsters fit but didn't work out. I sold it only to fund my new Sig M400 AR-15.

Had one in 9mm and traded it. Wouldn't mind having another one. Definately an under-rated gun.

I had one in 9mm and it was a very nice pistol. Sold it because I couldn't find a descent left handed holster. The only issue that I had with it is that during reloads my pinkie finger got wedged between the frame and mag heel. I slammed the magazine in like I always do, and it freakin hurt. Never had this with any other pistol that I have shot.

My brother just picked up a SP2022 in .40 and we shot it for the first time last Saturday. All I have to say is...get it and shoot the snot out of it. Really nice pistol for the price.

I know several people who have the 9mm version. Best deal out there today. Same price as the Ruger SR9, SR40, SR40c, & SR9c series but a better pistol IMO. My friend who owns a gun shop buys them by the hundreds and can't keep them in stock. Don't know anyone who has a .40 because it is a high pressured round so people I know go either 9mm or 45acp. I say why not get a Sig for $399. You can't go wrong. They seem great and are a couple ounces lighter than a P-229. Best of luck.

I see that Sig has released some in the US with threaded barrels, but most of the places I see want like $570 for them.

I like mine a lot, to me it matches the reliability and ergonomics of the original P-series Sigs but costs less than a glock.

I have a 2340 in .40. My favorite of three .40s I own.
Do yourself a favor and go to,
http://www.handloads.com/misc/saami.htm
and look at the pressure maximums. The .40 works at the same pressure as the 9mm. In facth the 9mm+P is higher than the .40.
The ".40 is a higher pressure round" is simply an internet and guncounter Canard.

if you can snag one for a good price might as well get it

I've had it's predecessor, the 2009, since 2004. Very good, very rugged pistol.

I just got a Galco Silhouette for the Springfield XD that fits my SP2022 with 1913 rail. The thumbbreak was tough to get snapped, but it stretched a bit and is fine now. The holster also fits my P228 & G-23.

Those Galco's are great. I have a different model that can be fit to about 3 of my guns.
