And poor Pippa could get arrested for simply being in the vehicle with the dumbass; arrested for nothing more than being associated with an idiot.


I'm all for locking people up when they do downright stupid things with firearms; and obviously that guy is a total tool and should probably never be allowed near so much as a cap gun. But I do think it's a fair bit overboard to charge the other people in the vehicle. What are they supposed to do, grab the pistol while that idiot has his finger resting on the trigger?

Excellent response by the French. Don't do anything about stopping Muslim immigration or their insane violence/rioting whenever they think Islam has been insulted, just put someone in prison for such an idiotic reason.

Hmmm. Well, the first thing I would say is that pointing a pistol at someone while displaying terrible trigger discipline is a good way to put a hole in someone. If they aren't threatening your life, it's a stupid way to teach someone a lesson.

Secondly, while I agree that the papar***i behave like a pack of rabid dogs, let's not forget that fleeing a camera at high speed is a fairly stupid reason to risk life. The papar***i are due their share of that tragedy but the people who were being 'chased' responded just as negligently.

The Duchess of Cambridge's sister is neither titled nor a member of the royal family.

If her actions violated the laws of France, she should be held liable, and probably will be, just like anyone else.

I think, though, the idiot who held the pistol is doing some serious worrying right now about what might be. And I am sure Pippa will be given a quiet talking to by someone from the British Embassy. You will be seeing a bit less of her for the neqr future.
