Hello from Western NY
Hello everyone I'm new to the forum and new to Glock's but definitely not new to firearms.
I recently picked up a Gen 4 Glock 19 that I intend to be my new carry gun and also pull double duty in the handgun safe next to my bed. For the latter purpose I bought a Streamlight TLR-1. I don't intend to carry it with the light on it though.
I'm looking forward to getting some good information and input here.

There was a guy or two on GT about a month ago looking to sell pre-ban 19 mags.
I have a 17.
You might check this thread where a couple different guys seem to mention having the mags available to sell (paste the link into your browser).

Oh count on the fact that I will be looking for pre-ban mags as soon as I am done absorbing the costs of the pistol, light, remote light switch, and holster.
If I go drop big bucks on pre-ban mags right now I think my otherwise supportive wife may hurt me. LOL
I have several for my LMT AR. The fact that they can be had for a Glock vs a lot of newer designs definitely played into the decision to get a Glock.

I lived in Marion for several years. Great hunting & fishing nearby.

Congrats on the 19. I work in Rochester. Check the next gun show at the dome. There are always a couple people with preban magazines at that show
