Our real state motto is "Forward"
For those of us who live in the southeast part of the state we feel like the motto is:
"Welcome to North Chicago"
and our battle cry is "FIBs go home!"
(FIB = *******in Illinois Ba****ds)
Now, of course, we love the money they spend up here. But a lot of them seem to think they are owed everything and that we are their servants.
