G26 + G19 Comp-Tac MTAC IWB holster??
Hello Everyone!
I'm looking at buying my first IWB holster for my Glock 26 and Glock 19 handguns.
I'm looking at this Comp-Tac MTAC model: http://www.comp-tac.com/product_info.php?products_id=95
Would I just be better off getting the "slide" model so it would fit both the G19 and G26?
Does the plastic kydex material cause any more wear on the gun than a leather holster would?
Thanks for your thoughts and comments!
Nate

Not sure about the MTAC, but the CBST I bought for my G19 fits my G26 quite well, and I've noticed very little wear after years of almost daily use. I think it's just easier to keep the KYDEX dirt & dust free than leather.

Go with the slide. Less holsters to mess around with. Kydex treats your Glock well. Been using MTACs for years and my slide looks good. Kydex is way easier to clean too.

MTAC makes good holsters but for me I have the Crossbreed Supertuck and its the one for the G19, I can put G26, G19, G17 and G34 in it with no issues.

I'd also recommend the slide version. One holster for all of them.
I have the Comp-Tac Infidel slide and use it for my G26 and G19. Easier to take off and put back on than the type with two belt clips. I find it just as comfortable.

You guys like the MTAC better than the Super Tuck? I'm in the market for an IWB, I'm torn between the two..

I would also suggest the slide version. I have never used a super tuck but like how you can change the kydex out on the mtac for different guns and have the same backing.

Why wouldnt you get the slide model. Fits all glocks except 10mm and 45acp.

Love my MTAC slide.
Fits my 26, 27, 19, 17, and 34 just fine!

snatiep,
Here are some of my subcompacts in Comp-Tac slide holsters (the first two.) The one on the end is a Remora, and I got it because of all the great reviews, and also because of the price. It sticks like glue without any clips.
The one on the left is the MTAC and the one in the middle is the Infidel. Both of those can hold full/compact/subcompact.

I also have the MTAC slide version. I've used it last year for my G19, and more currently now for my G26. No issues at all, and I really like it. I can even use it for my issued G22 if I have too, although I never carry that off duty.

I ordered the MTAC slide holster for my G26 and G19. I'm very excited for it to arrive!

I went with the CBST, but I don't think I would have regretted buying the MTAC. They're both spoken of fondly by their owners
