Your favorite gun shop
I've come to prefer impact guns, only been to the kearns location, gallensons in salt lake is decent, also had fair luck at sportsmans warehouse, least recommended for me is Doug's shootin sports, had Terrible service at least twice myself aswell as several people I know

discount guns and ammo in provo. Good prices and Kevin cares about his customers. He even remembers my name when I go in there. I have bought 2 glocks from him. A G29sf and a G23 rtf 2 from him and he has been a pleasure to work with.

I second that for Doug's I went in there since I was in the area, ( i am from provo) and I stood there for, kid you not, 30 minutes and not one person asked me if I needed help. Just seemed like a very cold shoulder place. Not what I am used to that is for sure. I get better service at cabela's than doug's

I suppose I could make the drive to Provo and check em out, I live in west Jordan so it's a small drive but may be worth it if they make it seem like they are is the customer service industry something many of these places seem to forget

Gunnies is my store of choice. They are in Orem. Best ammo prices I've found too.

I have also had good luck with Discount Guns and Ammo in Provo. Nothing against Gunnies but they were never as friendly with me as they were at Discount Guns. I used to live in Springville but never made it over to Rangemasters though.
Now I am up North and Cache Firearms is my favorite shop that's close by. Al's Sporting goods has a good selection and service but you have to deal with will not work with you at all retail pricing.

The one with the best price on the gun or ammo that I want. I've never bought a gun from the same shop twice except for Payson Sports which is no longer there.

I used to go to Gunnies but the last THREE times I called to see if they have a specific gun in stock, they look on the computer and tell me they have it but when I drive over there within the hour I find out that nope, they don't actually have it.
My absolute favorite is no longer in business: Van Wagenens in Orem. Sure, a lot of people had a problem with him. He had the lowest prices, period. I bought a new Glock from him a year or so ago for $479. He also had an amazing inventory of used guns.
I've bought my last couple guns from Sierra Guns in Clinton, Ut. Good prices and good buying experience.

VWs is finally done? Where is Clinton, north of Ogden? The last gun I bought was from Discount Guns in Provo. They were pretty good. I have never bought from the same store twice except for Payson Sports that is no longer in business. I got my CZ and Walther there. They were great to deal with.

Believe it or not, my favorite gun store is ACE Hardware.
Best prices within a 100 miles and the owner knows guns.

Looks like some folks can't read...
My favorite was FBMG. I really like Barlow's, too (not for purchases so much as smithing). I'm still looking for a level-headed FFL to replace Diane at Tight Group in West Jordan. She used to do all of my transfers.

Barlow's? Tight Group? I've never heard of them.
I have a great, cheap FFL in Orem.

That's ok. I don't go to Utah County, either.
