Ive been wanting an ak and have been reading the threads on here for awhile. hoping you guys can help me, my friend is selling his yugo and wanted to run it by you and see what you thought. It is a m70ab2 DCI stamped receiver out of st.paul, Minnesota. I checked the front sight and it is not canted, the folding stock feels very solid an there isnt any wobble. The gun seems to be in very good shape and really couldn't find anything wrong with it. He is asking $400 and it also includes 2 hold open yugo mags, 1 polymer waffle mag, and 300 rds of ammo. It seems to be a very good deal to me, just wondering what you thought or if there was anything else I should have looked for. It will be mainly used as a truck gun so I don't have a problem with the underfolder. Appreciate your help.

That is actually a really good deal since Yugo's got so scarce and have shot up in price. You should really jump on that and if that is corrosive ammo, make sure you clean it properly because the barrel isn't chrome-lined.

I paid $449 for my Yugo about 5 years ago. Prices have indeed gone up and will continue to go up. The Yugo M70 is built like a tank. I would not use corrosive ammo because they don't have chrome lined barrel ,but jus keep it clean no problem.

Awesome, appreciate the help! The ammo he has used and is including is non corrosive tulammo steel cased? The gun has less than 100 rds through it. Gonna go for it haha

I just sold a Yugo for $800 so this is a fantastic deal. They've really shot up in price. Can't go wrong with the deal you're looking at.
