Today on Gun Broker, serial number AZ###. I called the shop to gather the serial number and confirm the older non drop magazines, I was shocked when he started off with an "A", he also commented how nice the gun is, does not look to be shot or carried much at all with very little barrel and slide wear, "maybe a few boxes". The Hogue grip threw me off at first glance and the ad did not have the serial number. It will go well with my AU### which is more complete with box, paperwork, etc. This one came with correct 'U' magazines and mag loader, nothing else. I will post some pics when I get it.

It is fascinating to see folks actually want and like gen 1s. I sent the last of my gen 1s packing when the gen 3s came out. Of course, i had continuously updated all of them, so none were actually bone stock gen 1 in the end. I would have never guessed anyone would actually like the look of them...... Especially when the gen 2s first came out. The improved grip and looks were so much more acceptable, back in the day......

I have always like gun history and really enjoyed reading Paul Barrett's recent book Glock: The Rise of America's Gun on my Kindle. Makes me want to own a few more Generation 1 Glocks, even have my eyes on another one locally, that would make three. My AU### is minus the upgrade, which I think makes it more rare.
