I'm really growing fond of Frog Lube. I shot 2 of my Glocks yesterday. The g19 had already been treated with Frog Lube and the G23 had not. It was amazing how much easier it was to clean the G19 afterwards.

Breakfree CLP has always worked great for me.
Cleans.
Lubes.
Protects.
Good stuff.

+1 on the g96 products.

Weapon Shield CLP. The evolution of FP-10 and also devised by George Fennel and made by his company. In my years as a police rangemaster I got to try a lot of gun products, fire a lot of weapons heavily, and see weapons in heavy duty use. The only product that touches any of my guns for cleaning/oiling/protection is Weapon Shield. No heating or rituals required either. Bill

I personally use Ballistol. The thing with asking these kinds of questions, you're gonna get 10 different answers from 10 people.
But I will second what some said a few posts back. A heating rod like Goldenrod is a good idea (I use one as well). But I also use and would suggest getting something that is a reusable dessicant, dehumidifier. Stick em in in the socket overnight, then stick it in the safe. Check on it every so often and recharge as needed. Works great for me. The Goldenrods work well in the fact that they circulate the air and keep the ambient temp in the safe a few degrees warmer than outside. But they do nothing for collecting the humidity.
I use a couple of these.

OP, I have a question that I'm curious about. It certainly can get humid in SC, but where exactly do you keep your safe? In a basement or garage? Can the temp/etc be regulated in the general area?
I hope you find something that works for you.

I use Eezox and Miltec on all my guns. Check the rust tests easily available online. I live very close to the ocean, no problem whatsoever.
