Glock warranty in the PH
Hi guys, I hope you don't mind me asking...
Does Glock send replacement parts to the Philippines? Or is there a certified Glock armorer here who can do it?
Thanks!

You can try Trust Trade. When my guiderod broke they replaced it for free.

No they don't, most people I know (myself included) don't bother with warranty replacements UNLESS it was really brand new and broke out of the box, I just buy my replacement parts from the usual stores (Final Option, Trust Trade, Twin Pines etc). I did recall an incident before where a Glock had a cracked breech face, and Glock did replace his broken slide, but the replacement took months if not a year.
With the current status of Glock here in the Phils, I'm not sure if they'll be honoring any warranty claims.
There are many certified Glock Armorers here in the country, but not all of them operate gunstores or gunsmithing shops. Bien of SOE is a certified Glock Armorer, and has sight installation tools too, but he took the course so he could service his personal pistols. He can still help you if you want, even give you a crash course so you can do it yourself, just ask him nicely and he'll take care of you And in case you forget steps etc or get stuck, remember Youtube is a great resource for instructional videos

Thanks Kaiser! (Btw, love that movie... The Usual Suspects)
What's SOE and where is it located? Any other Glock armorers you can name?

Hehe, SOE is a tactical gear store located at the 1st basement level of Makati Cinema Square, near Jethro and across the HK and Kahr Dealer store. As for the other Glock armorers, Bien is the only one with a store, the 2 other guys I know who got certified in the US are private individuals who are just gun nuts (my dad being one of them, hehe).

still overpriced except for twinpines at 37ish. but going down na. imagine these glocks at 70t or so? mahal pa kesa sig or hk.
sadly daming bumibili at that time and thus market prices shot up. now second hand glocks are still being sold at 50ish but medyo hindi na masyado nag move due to twin pines prices. but they sell only gen 3 till stocks are depleted.

Chipped frame.. maybe air pockets or the RSA did it?
Heto ang problem ng gen4 na hindi sinasabi ng mga "Sponsors" at ng glock mismo.
Papalitan kaya ito ng glock? at least ang frame man lang.

blame it on taxes and limited competition.

I dont know, just got it from the net.
First i did not believe it, till i got my brand new glock and fired 70rounds break in.
Then this same chipped frame thing appeared.
Forget the FTF,FTE and shell ejection hitting your face. This is glock perfection.

wow this is an issue they really have to do something. otherwise the "perfection" thing will be just a word. that is why im holding on to my gen3 unit, for a while longer, i dont have any issues with it.
bro majin, too bad i did not have the chance to test fire my gen4 g17, napunta agad sa relative ko due to new plans.

Jason, every chance you get....talagang galit ka sa glock noh?
FWIW, I recently acquired my first ever Glock (mura eh). Since it was self processed, I had to pick up the FA sa Crame. Given the facilities we have at Crame, I was not able to check the FA at Crame before it was released to me. When I got home, I saw that the front and rear sights were damaged. I immediately called up TRUST TRADE and explained what happened. They asked me to bring the FA to them and they actually changed the sights for me right there and then. I'm very happy and very surprised by the service of TRUST TRADE. Akala ko hinde na nila ho honor yung warranty since I could have inflicted the damage myself. In any case, I would not hesitate to pick up a FA from TRUST TRADE in the future...basta mura ha hahahaha!!!

Ahts,
want to test a theory? Shoot that ipsc style and your 2011 targets from 15-30 meters steel swingers etc.
compare your score hehehe.

Allegra, medyo bad trip nga yung NBI clearance. I think it's a requirement from Glock. Hinde ata nila alam red tape lang yun hehehe! I think "mura" is relative. I got it at around 38K.
Jason of course the Glock won't win a shooting contest (by myself, although uncle PG has been beating me with a Glock for the longest time) compared to my 2011. I didn't buy the Glock to shoot IPSC with it. I bought it to be my bedside gun . Sabi ko nga kay ans eh, I will use my Glock to "make noise" so that I can get to my 2011. Sabi niya why not use the 2011 as your bedside gun?? Answer: because it rusts too easily sa AC.

problema pa , twin pines wouldnt let me process the license myself , unlike other stores
Sayang sya pa naman pinaka malapit dito sa south

practice, i assume your right handed? Trigger on those things are not very nice, if you dont practice a lot then it will do what its doing now.
