The 1000 or the 440?
That KZ1000 was my very first bike.....I love that bike. Ive got aspirations of keeping it in running shape until my son gets old enough to ride.....then make a winter project out of it and clean it up a bit....give it to him to be his first bike.
I am seriously considering some superbike bars though......but Im not quite sure how they would look or feel. The drag bars dont look like it....but Im 6ft4in and they are VERY comfortable. I think the superbike bars would be more comfortable when my girlfriend rides the bike....and I dont think it would make it less comfortable for me.

On the streets I ride a 76 Harley, no pics though.
Also have an 83 Honda Nighthawk 650, and am in the middle of restoring an 86 Honda CR250 dirt bike.

Wow! I'm drooling over this one. A 48 Panhead. The first year of the panheads. I rode a 60 Panhead for about 20 years. Sweetest sound in the world is a panhead cranking after you been kicking it for an hour in the hot sun. If you are still on this site, tell us more about it. I can see it still has the mechanical rear brake and no front brake. Is it a 61 or 74 cubic inch? Does it still have the old 3 brush 6 volt generator?

They are easy to ride. In fact, I would argue that they are easier to ride than smaller, lighter bikes. They balance and center of gravity make it very maneuverable.

My 2007 Suzuki Hayabusa. Has been lowered but otherwise stock. With a 0 to 100mph time at just a tick over 5 seconds, I do not feel the need to mod the bike for more speed or noise!
