I carry a Streamlight PolyTac LED on my belt and a Surefire E1B in my pocket for backup.
One is none two is one.

Costco has the best price on Eneloops that I've found - $20 for 10 aa's + 2 small cases that carry 4xAA each.
If anyone reading this is local and wants some, but doesn't have a Costco membership, PM me

I contnue to be very happy with, and well served by, my Olight M30 and Fenix LD20. Both appear to be indestructable, light weight, and water proof. The rechargeable batteries for the Olight have lasted over a year and a half. They are easy to swap out and recharge, and they last like 12 shifts or more. The Fenix takes 2 AA batteries, and I just replaced them after a year and a half of back up duty.
