Anybody here own a Taurus 605 357 mag?
These are very tempting to me. If you have one, can you tell me how it shoots. Also, how it has held up. Does it shoot to point of aim? Let me know any info about it--Thanks!

I have a 617 (7rds), very similar to the 605 (6rds).
Great pistol, very accurate, lots BOOM with 125gr SD rounds.
The standard Taurus rubber grip is great! Very impressed.
While I like it, I don't love it. 357mag is hard on carpel-tunnel.
38SP loads are like pop-gun stuff. REALLY MILD.
But I shoot my Kahr MK9 and K9 better and they are much faster on the reload, so my 617 is a safe queen.

I have a 605. I put the Taurus Rubber Combat Grip on it. I got the Grip from their Web Sight. This Grip is a little longer than the Standard Grip. I't makes shooting the 357 rounds more comfortable. After a lot of dry firing and shooting the Action is very smooth. The Gun is all so very accurate. I compare it to the accuracy of a Colt Detective Special I had. Taurus gets a lot of bad raps and our Shop stopped stocking them because of the problems but, I have Three Taurus Revolvers that shoot very well and I would not hesitate to carry them and trust them.

I have a 605 B2 and love it. It shoots great and has a super nice trigger in SA mode.
I recently got some wad cutter match ammo and I was surprised to be hitting the bullseye 2 outta 5 times at 25 yards. The other 3 shots were in the neighborhood but not in the red.
I really like the shiny blue, too. Use a little Meguirs Nxt Generation car wax on that baby and it will shine like a diamond in a goats ass. It won't fingerprint so easy, either. Great stuff.

I had one and actually hung onto it for about a year and a half before I had to sell it to get parts to keep my truck running. I put a set of Hip Grips on it, sweet little carry gun, worked flawlessly, sights were dead on, nice DA trigger pull.
