My off duty piece is a P239 in 40. At work it's a Glock though not by choice.

I bought my P238 to carry but it hasn't proven itself yet. About 150 rounds through at its first range session and about 4 failures. It feels good in hand and shoots nice, is accurate and lightweight, but not reliable enough ... yet.
I'm hoping another couple hundred rounds will clear that up and it'll be my carry weapon.

I don't know if your asking me if I'm looking for something or not but the answer if so is no.
I've carried 1911's for many yrs and I have in say the last 11 months or so been carrying a P220r sse and love it.
But I keep getting Sh-- about it from the guys at the ranges where I Shoot and from my old dept.
So I have about 4800 hundred flawless rds thru it so far and it's accurate as hell. And The guys all say BS the new sigs are crap you gotta get a german one.
And ten when I said the was originally made by the swiss I really catch it.

Sometimes I carry my 220 with slim grips. Never had an issue with it. Accurate and dependable.

We issue the P220ST as a duty gun and P239 as back up/off duty. I occasionally carry one or the other Glocks while on my time. When I do, it is almost always the much hated and despised G38 .45 GAP.

I prefer to carry my 229 but my g23 is easier to carry so thats the compact that gets the most play. My p290 is the easiest to carry that I own but I prefer to carry a compact.

My G23 is my primary because it is my duty gun. I do have a P228 and love to carry it a lot.

I bought a 9mm P228 (W. Germany marked) for my girlfriend because it was the best fit for her hands. She still doesn't carry it very often but only because she isn't in the habit of carrying. But it is a really good shooter!

Sig 229 in 40, been my duty weapon for 12 years. My department has had only two issues and both were user error.

239 9mm&226 9mm over all other autos. I like the DA/SA and hammer and they never jam and shoot more accurate than the others. And its the first chioce for most special ops units and commando,s world wide. The Navy &Seals just bought a new batch of them and been using them since 1986. I think there best 9mm out there bare none.

From time to time, I've been known to carry a 229SAS or a 239.
