Sprinco Recoil Spring Question

JR,

I have a G22 with a threaded LWD 40-9 conversion barrel and a G23 I am waiting on a backordered threaded black LWD40-9 barrel. Both are gen three guns. I am interested in perceived (felt) recoil reduction by using the Sprinco non corbon recoil spring. I would initially like to try it in the G23. Do they really reduce perceived recoil? Can I reliably run 9mm and 40 S&W ammo through the gun without having to change out to other springs? If the spring is going to cause reliability issues, I do not want to risk it and will simply go with the LWD guide rod.

Thank you

The Sprinco system will work great with the 40 loads. It provides way too much spring to run reliabily with the 40-9 conversion barrels. The factory spring or a reduced spring system by LWD would be a better choice for the conversions.
