Gen 4 Trigger Bar
What is the purpose of having the "raised bump" on the Trigger Bar (where the piece of metal pushes up the Firing safety pin) again?
I recently read/ viewed a few articles and videos concerning Trigger pull differences between the Gen3 vs Gen4. One of the obvious change was the bump on the Trigger bar (Gen4). What is the purpose and advantage (if any) of having that bump?
Numerous Glock users have reported switching out the Trigger bar from a Gen4 to a Gen3, which apparently helps with the Trigger pull. Is it safe to just stick the Stock Trigger bar and say "shave off" some if not ALL the bump with dremmel and be done with it?
Thoughts?
