Just Noticed this on my Gen 4 G22
I have about 1K trouble free rounds through my Gen4 G22. However, when I was cleaning it I discovered something and I don't know if it is normal. On the frame, the portion that's under the guiderod, about half way down, there is medal showing on both sides. I hadn't noticed it before. I don't know if it was there when I got the gun (bought it NIB from FFL) or not. Is that supposed to be showing or is the polymer being worn away? Worse on the right side, just bearly metal showing through on the left. I have not altered the gun at all. Like I said, no malfunctions or anything. I don't notice any hinderance or binding when I pull the slide back. I don't see this on my Gen 3 G19.
