I came close to purchasing a glock 30sf a few months ago until reading about issues with them. From what l have gathered it seems to be a different trigger bar and other minor changes in the 30sf. l would prefer the shorter grip but my top concern is reliability. Some recently purchased sf's with the replacement trigger bars are still having problems. With that said, is the g30 non-sf the safer bet, or have they had this problem also but not to the extent of the sf models? Just the fact that l am asking this isnt very comforting. l have a g27 and g23 and love and trust both. Was hoping to add the 45 but dought will kill the deal.

I am a firm believer in the Gen3 guns. They were basically bullet proof as is.
The gen4 guns have a hard row to hoe if they ever expect to catch up with the reputation of the Gen3. Time will tell for sure.
