Is it safe to assume that Glock has by now resolved the issues about the early Gen4 G19 ( and G26 ??) recoil springs ?
Also, many mention that little dimple on the Gen4 trigger bar..the one that rubs the inside of the slide. Does that dimple really serve any useful purpose ? Can it simply be filed down a little (or a lot) without any consequences ?
I discussed the new release of latest generation recoil springs. Glock Inc is very confident the issue is resolved. Contact them direct for replacement springs.
Unfortunately we did not get to the exact reason the bump was introduced. There is a lot of guessing going on as to the real reason but I can tell you this for sure.... there is absolutely no benefit in removing the bump
