Cleaning residue from Scadnium J-frame inside cylinders?
I shoot a 340PD with .38 +P Speer Lawman at the range...but carry .357 DPX. I shoot about 50 rounds per month of .38. I clean the cylinders w/ a nylon bore brush soaked in CLP.
I noticed that I am getting significant buildup/residue from shooting .38s inside the cylinder. The nylon brush & CLP dont seem to do much to clean it out.
I know the Scadnium cylinders have some sort of spary on coating that can be sensitive to harsh cleaners. Any tips on what to use to clean this buildup off?
