I found the recoil harsh on an eighteen hundred dollar les bear but pleasantly light on a 45C or tactical.

Limbsaver makes one now with no finger grooves or palm swells. I like it so far, but it does add about 3mm or so to the backstrap. I think I got it from Brownells

It followed me home this morning. FBI trade in with 2 18 rnd mags. Went to the gun show with the intention of buying another 17 or a 34 and saw these. Came with original box and contents. Test cartridge is dated 20 7 2005. Couldn't pass it up!
