TulAmmo?
question on ammo. i picked up some ammo today i wasn't too sure about it... just wanted to know if anyone knew anything about it. .45acp 230 gr FMJ made in Russia Called TulAmmo (suppose to be a wolf clone? ive never shot wolf heard a few bad things) Steel Case (the only thing im worried about, ive never shot steel casings), Non-Corrosive, Boxer Primed. Its going down my baby, the 1911, so i kinda want to be sure before any bad reviews. It was only $14 bucks for 50 rounds at Walmart so... i kinda had to buy it. Thanks for any info.
ps. are these casings worth savings?

I just picked some of this up today too. Have not tried it yet. It was cheaper than the federal ammo so i thought I would give it a shot.

id buy Chinese ammo 45acp at 10 bucks a box... you probably are one of those people who rave about buying American. driving a dodge ram made in Mexico with a rusted through bumper and its 2 years old... no wait you're a ford guy.
there's a great site that i often purchase stuff from called meritline.com you should check it out. its the exact stuff that newegg carries just you know in china.

Just shoot it. Then you'll find out if it works in your gun. I've shot TONS of russian steel cased ammo of all types through my guns and have had no significant issues.

I just got back from the range. This ammo sucks. The steel case is not smooth and jams. Same thing on my Glock 22 and Beretta CX4. I will stick with Federal from now on for range ammo. I have never had a jam with those.

I fired off 57 Tula .45 ACP yesterday in my M&P 45c. Worked great. I also shot two boxes of the 9mm Tula in a G4 19 and Kahr PM9. No issues at all. Just try a box and see.
You can't do anything with used steel cases.

I'd buy a Ford if they'd build it around a Cummins diesel engine. Until then....
