Ionbond Coating

Can Ionbond be applied to the aluminum upper and lowers of AR15s?

Yes, Springer Precision advertises that they can do Ionbond on AR upper & lower receivers. It is quite a costly process and we are not very familiar with Ionbond or it's benefits, but it can be done. Hope that helps.
