WTS FTF Marlin .22 semi- auto

I am posting this for a good friend that has a Marlin 60 semi-auto .22 for sale. It has the original hardwood stock, microgroove barrel and brass mag. tube. All of the hardware (bolts, screws) have been replaced. It has Simmons 1'' aluminum rings and a Simmons Blazer Series 4-12x40 scope. This is an awesome little plinker. It shoots, .22 short, long, and LR. It was been re-blued about 6 months ago. It had some fading in spots. I will detail strip and clean it before it goes to the new owner. He is asking $150 firm, no trades. FTF in Ohio preferred, will ship at buyers expense.

Great little gun. I found mine 2 years ago and ended up paying 100 for it, it's been the best .22 I have owned. Did a trigger job on it and replaced a spring and it's got a sweet little trigger. Very accurate guns. Make sure they know tho, it will only feed .22lr, shorts and whatnot have to be shot one at a time placing them in the chamber. But I'm sure they know that. Good luck with the sale. Good price with a scope. I'd take a model 60 over a 10/22 any day.

Do you know why he had it re-blued and replaced all those parts? Just wandering if it was salvage out of water or something.

It wasnt a salvage, lol. It had sat in the closet for a couple of years and befor that it was his step fathers. He had forgotten all about it until I was helping him move and found it in a closet. The screws has some light surface rust, the barrel had a few small spots here and there so it was smoothed over and reblued. Its a great shooter and very accurate.
