If your a Law Enforcement Officer I'm sure you know what I'm taliking about.
Unless you work in Mayberry U.S.A. I'm sure you've heard worse and have seen the type of cops I'm refering to.
If not then get out of the pulpit and let a cop who takes offense to it complain.

I'm 19 years in LE (and counting). I think it was funny as hell. Maybe that's because I was born... and still am, in Chicago.

And all Glocks will shoot underwater, the maritime cups just "guarantee" it will work.

Only difference could be LEO has or has not been fitted with N/S or NY-1 trigger factory installed ,and has a blue colored label and one extra mag.
Thats your answer.

Tell your dealer its OK, you'll take it.

What are the differences in those tiny cups that would make (or guarantee) it works underwater?

It's the same gun, but LE get a special price (about $398 with plastic sights) and 1 additional magazine.

OK -- that makes sense. The "missing" material around the edge of the cups would reduce the pin's drag thru the water.

I'm glad you took it as I meant it to be taken. Lightly.
Sometimes we have to make light of even the truth. I didn't mean any offense to Law Enforcement.

Does it have a 36C or 38B cup?
I believe the G19 has the 36C cup... The G17 has the 38D cup... Of course, the G26 has the 32B cup... but it is a sub-compact, ya know...

When I was LEO, I bought my G19 at Lawmen's. It came with three high-cap mags, and it had the New York (10#) trigger. These pistols are provided to Law Enforcement outlets at a special price from Glock, as it was explained to me, and not available to the public at any price. It is a contract agreement. All that was told to me by the rep in the store. I paid $398 + tax.

law enforcement glocks are dna coded to the specific officer, so in the event a bad guy somehow gets a hold of officers gun....he cannot use it. also in the slide of l.e glocks there is a lo jack to trace it if it ever gets stolen

Now THAT shows imagination! I always thought there was a long string attached to it so the string could be followed wherever the perp goes......
It's been an 18 hour day for me and I'm still not done yet. Forgive my corney joke, I need some sleep. zzzzzzzzzzzz

I like a girl packing a pair of 17L's or maybe a pair of enhanced 20's with LWD 6 inchers.

I work for a Glock LE dealer. Any model is available from the G26 to the 34/35 long slides. The pistols are packaged with either Trigicon night sights or Glock night sights. You can order any of the factory trigger options, NY trigger/standard trigger, and three high capacity magazines. They sell for approximately dealer cost depending on certain options like extended slide releases or maritime spring cups. In order to qualify for purchase the buyer must show current issue law enforcement employee ID, state EMT/Paramedic ID, current fire department issue employee ID, or current active military ID. Dealers are not supposed to sell the BLUE LABEL guns to anyone other than those listed above. Dealers are to retain copies of the customers approved ID with the 4473 and furnish that information to Glock if requested. Any violations of Glock's LE pricing/sales program, can result in loss of a dealers qualification as a Glock LE dealer. Any firearms dealer can sell used Glock LE models.

Wouldn't a girl packing a 6 incher, in fact, not be a girl, by definition?

How does a dealer qualify to become an LE dealer ? There are none in my area.I am trying to get my dealer interested so I can get the discount locally.

The Law Enforcement Glocks can shoot you for just about any reason at all and get away with it.
The regular Glocks have to go to court and prove that it was a justified shooting.

I am not sure exactly what the process is. I do know that it was not easy for the shop I work for to qualify. Glock may regulate how many LE dealers there are in a specific geographic area. I will find out when I go to work next week.
