Where I live in Spain...

Hi everyone here are some photos of where I live in the Málaga province of Andalucía, Spain. We have a lot of good hunting here (my favourite is the red stag, fallow deer and wild boar with my bow) Lots of great gun shops, lots of gun ranges and clubs too.

I know this will probably bring back a lot of memories for the members I spoke to recently here who served in the military and had stopped over here in this area

Beautiful! Thank you for sharing.

You mention guns shops and hunting, what are the firearm laws over there?

Thank you again for the edification!

Is Pata Negra a local name for jamon iberico, or is it a brand?

In America, we finally got to have jamon iberico, but even then as I understand it, it's not 100% Spanish but the pigs have to be shipped to Holland or somewhere else in Europe for processing and then back to Spain for curing. Something about Spain's slaughterhouses don't meet FDA standard or something stupid like that.

Jamon iberico is simply the best cured ham in the world.

Agreed. I was there a couple times in '85.

Those people do not need an excuse to party.

Very nice town. Very nice area.
I never been to Spain before, but my wife sure liked Barcelona.
I wouldn't mind to retire in such place (especially since we can legally live in any EU country anyway).
For the next little while however, I'm going to continue to ignore the Canadian winter.

Nope I did not. Spain is a beautiful place to live, lots of ex pats here too.

Beautiful, i´ve not made it down there yet (1 hour by car) looks lovely!

Spain is pretty awesome. When I hit the lottery, I'm going on an Ibex hunt over there. I saw a T.V. hunting show the other day in which they were going for Ibex in some mountains west of Madrid. During a break, they snacked on cheese (manchego?), ham (pata negra?), and wine. How can you beat that?
I don´t think you can I´m gonna be hunting red stag, fallow deer and wild boar this year I´m really looking forward to it (bow).

Nice pics, What does a Spainaird Glock Girl look like?

The only thing I know is that the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain!
I´m not Spanish, I´m Scottish.

Thanks again all for the wonderful comments!

Lassie -- impressive photos. I've enjoyed all of them in all your posts the last few days. You have talent!

EDIT: forgot to mention that before I die, I WILL dine in Spain on several pieces of ham from many of the "hamerias" located there. Looks like the best part!!!
