Damn you Glock! Again!!
Ok, now I'm done buying for moment!!
I had to get this Gen 4 G21, price was good and it's a nice compliment to the my G30SF. On a side note, Cheaper than Dirt is a bunch of price gouging a-holes on pistols now too, not just rifles. I went to the retail store in Mckinney and the same Gen 4 19 I bought about a month ago is now $669. The Gen 4 G21, $759.
I went 15 mins down the road to the new Gun Gear to Go in Plano and paid $629. They also had several AR's in stock at decent prices.
That gives me a G21 and G30SF and a G19 and G26. I think I'm good for now.

I love this light.

Right now the G21 is serving as my nightstand "hammer".
I primarily carry my G30SF or G26 (depends on what I'm wearing) but if Texas passes the Open Carry bill currently working it's way through the process, I can see myself carrying the G21 or G19 and using the G30 or G26 as an IWB backup.

Funny, the same thing happened to me when I saw a Gen 4 G21 in the case. Congrats!

Congrats.
I'm lucky all the gun stores are out of Glocks here. Otherwise I'd be buying a G23 next

Yes all out of Glocks in my area, or a 31C would be joining my safe companions.

They have a way of doing that to you! I keep fighting myself over buying a Gen4 21...only thing stopping me is I already have a fantastic Gen3 21 but the more the merrier, right?
Congratulations on the new piece! Looks awesome and ill more than likely have one myself to complement the Gen3 before too long!

I haven't checked Glock prices in SW Florida for a while, but they were $550 or less for a long time.
Is Glock jacking up prices, or is it the distributor or the dealer? Or is it all or them?
My local gun store is a small dealer, but his prices are always competitive. He told me yesterday that any new gun order will likely require a wait of at least a month, and popular models may take months to arrive. Maybe the price is moot if guns aren't available.

PhotoFeller... It's the LGS. I'm in SFL as well and Gen 3's are creeping up near $600-649 and Gen 4's are $650-7xx.
Crazy!

Agreed, it's the stores. I was talking with a friend who runs a small gun shop out of his house (mainly builds custom rifles and orders items for a small customer base) and he was saying that Glock hasn't really moved the wholesale price much, if at all. My trip yesterday is a perfect example.
CTD was selling the Gen 4 G21 for $759 (which is over $100 more than they had it priced a month ago). I drove 5 mins down the road to Cabela's, who had no new Glocks in stock but had about 6 used Gen 2 and 3 G21's, the cheapest was $549 and all of them only had 1 mag. I drove 10 mins down 75 to Plano and bought a new Gen 4 G21 with 3 mags for $629 from Gun Gear to Go.
It's amazing to me that the stores engaging in this price gouging practice don't think people will remember this when the market gets stable again. I will never buy anything from CTD again and I won't buy a firearm from Cabela's either.
