Usually sit beside the first lady?

I don't blame him for declining the invite.

Insofar as Captain Zero has no honor to lose, you are correct.

Would you explain this statement?

We know, and he knew, it's a photo op for him to be seated with the first lady, and he chose not to be a part of the propaganda. How is that his loss?

Have a great gun carryin' Kenpo day

Let's use FW or FH and leave the great state of Florida out of it. Guilt by association and all.

Did he turn down the offer in a disrespectful way? In case you forget, one of those dudes has a MOH on his neck/chest. The only thing he is required to do now in life is to die peacefully, unfettered and unmolested by ceremony, politics /etc.

He did not lose anything. If none of those folks Obama invited had shown up, or called in sick at the very last minute, it would have been a major embarrassment for Obama.

He already had received the highest honor possible so how is it a loss to sit through a boring speech with someone you don't know?

Don't blame him. Wouldn't want to be a prop for the idiot in the White House either.

Good call Trooper. From one Cavalryman to another I salute you...

It pisses me off that obama tries to associate himself with a real hero like Clint Romesha, when in fact obama isn't fit to shine the boots of the lowest Army Private.
