Matthew Bracken was a prophet...
I just finished reading Enemies Foreign and Domestic and there is a scene where the police shoot up a truck and it's occupants because it matches the description of the truck they are looking for. It was used to get away after shooting a Senator. It's remarkably similar to what's going on in Kalifornia right now.

I suppose if the cops identified them, they wouldn't have shot them.
BTW, the intent of this thread is not start a cop bashing thread. Just thought I ought to put that in black and white. It's more to point out that the police are fallible, just like anyone else, and the logic that we can all put away our guns and be protected is a joke.

Freedom has a taste to those who fight and almost die, that the protected will never know.
Kind of like on the internet forums - People continually flip someone off who they know is obligated to not break the rules in response. Yeah, usually that type of stupidity eventually yields the rewards that are earned.
And then there are those trying so hard to be offended that they're imagining things that haven't even been said in a thread.

I make no claims for his present ability to foresee future events so I felt the use of "is" would be grossly inappropriate, however his has demonstrated this capability in the past.

Matt and I have communicated over the years. I was one of the first to buy his first book. I expressed some concerns about how things would have happened which led to the "CLA" in his second book.
