Can you get the danger warnings and liability waivers on the slide engraved in script and gold-inlayed?

The local gun shop got one of these "Ruger Commanders" in on Tuesday - sold it the same day to one of the shops part timers.

I looked at it when it came in - nice gun, but nothing "special" other than the name Ruger on it.

For the price point, they will sell well.

Take care,
Bob S.

That's what happens when they introduce a new gun and release them one at a time...

Sorry for the delay - I don't get back to glocktalk as often as I'd like.

I think it was going to be put out for $640.00, not sure what the shop employee paid.

I just bought my SR1911 a week ago for a little over 700 out the door. The new one they got in was under the counter for 850 before tax.

Im so glad I put mine on layaway when I did

The Commander looks so nice. Hopefully I will find one soon being a city away from the Ruger factory lol

I own a full size SR1911 and if the Commander is half as good, it's a great value at its MSRP.

Maybe its just me, but I have absolutely ZERO excitement for this or the new Remington commander.

I have some commanders, but I much prefer full size models.

Want...

I've seen 3 Sr1911's - two were used, one was new, all were $1,000. So I don't have one yet...
