Advantage Arms Kit for G20

Considering an Advantage Arms 22 conversion kit for G20SF. Looking for real world feedback on accuracy and reliability. Anything you can share would be appreciated.

My AA kits work great.

Very accurate and 99% reliable with CCI MiniMags or the newer 325 pack Remington Golden Bullets.

(much less reliable with the older 550 count Golden Bullets)

Must be kept fairly clean and very well lubed.

Mine works great with the MiniMags. Doesn't seem to work with anything else. Surprisingly accurate.

Why the hell do you want to shoot 22s out of a 20???
Unfortunately, with all the advances in medical science, there still just isnt any cure for "stupid".

I would be interested as I don't currently reload and trigger time with a 22 on the same frame is better dry firing. I have tried 40 S&W and found them to reliable but accuracy suffers. If I could only get Walmart to carry the 10 mm stuff.......

I just got mine last month but I am pleased with it so far. I have about 250 rounds through it. It shoots CCI 36gr HP and 40gr RN perfectly. I ran a few Winchester Super Speed 40gr RN through it and it shot them fine as well. But it will NOT shoot bulk Federal 36gr. HP, I really didn't expect it to anyway. Accuracy seems to be equal to or a little better than stock form.

It is a great option for getting trigger time in with your G20 without spending an arm and leg. I think it makes a viable trail gun as well, it is much, much lighter than the stock 10mm slide. I've already taken a few rabbits and a couple creepy crawlies with mine.

if you dont roll your own ammo, the AA kit is the best thing you will ever buy for your 20.

if you polish this n that the kit will be much less picky about ammo.
mine shoots everything from CCI standard velocity rounds, to Fed bulk pack, to Stingers!
You have reached the end of the internet.
Now go outside and play.

I have close to 1500 rounds of mostly golden bullets with a few cci's with the only problem being an occasional misfire from a dud bullet. My first few mags I put thru it were problematic. I called them and they sent me a new magazine, it functions flawlessly. I took the old mag apart, cleaned it and lubed it and now it is flawless as well. Just wish they held more than ten rounds. This is my favorite gun to shoot now. Accuracy is very good, I can dump the mag rapid fire shooting 5 inch round steel plates at 20 yards and hit about 80% of the time. Helps to teach follow up shots without negatively learning flinching response.

I have a kit I put on a glock 19 frame, that I'm teaching my son to shoot with. Once he has mastered it, its an easy transition to either a 19 or something larger (his hands are still a little small the glock 20/21 frame). Nothing like learning the trigger and frame angle of a glock from the get go!

Just another two cents worth. I have one for my Glock 20 and it is accurate and has been reliable with the ammo they reccommend. They are a good deal.

It runs 100 percent reliable with Mini Mags & RGB's (only), out to about 200 rounds before I have to field strip & give it a little wiping down or it becomes only 98 or 99 percent reliable from about the 200 to the 400 mark. Also: Not exactly a target pistol for accuracy, but more than good enough for action pistol competition against buddies who aren't pro's.

We have an AA kit, run the Remington 550 golden rounds thru it and about every 100 round or so we have some type of a hick up.

Mostly a failure to feed the 2nd to last round of a magazine I have 3 magazines and it happens to all of them with no rhyme or reason.

I use the AA kit it to start off new shooters.I use it in a 17 17l 34 31 .I think it also will fit a 19

Its worth the money for affordable trigger time

Very happy with mine. Modified the mags and she runs like a top. I also wish the mags were not hamstrung with 10 rounds. Lame, very lame.

I don't have the G20 but I use this kit on my G23 and it works really well with mini mags and it works pretty well with the bulk packs. Its awesome for just casual shooting and practice.
