My thread was closed
I posted a thread in general glocking about night sights and it was closed after 1 day, not sure if I did something wrong or what? Any input's appreciated.

I think your thread might have been too "general" for General Glocking. For the last year or so, there has been an announcement in big, red, letter at the top of that forum, asking folks to keep the threads there DIRECTLY related to Glocks. Some folks come to Glock Talk to find Glock info, and that forum is set-up to concentrate Glock info in one area.
Your subject, while peripherally related to Glocks, was not a directly Glock-related thread. It was a general discussion about the usefulness of night sights, and although the gun you were talking about was a Glock, it could have been any handgun, and the thread would not have changed one bit. While it may have been useful to some folks who came here looking for Glock info, it would probably not be something they would come looking for in the General Glocking forum.
If you had violated a Glock Talk TOS rule, you would have received a email or Private Message warning. This off-topic-in-GG problem happens very regularly, and the Moderators don't really have time to respond every time they close a thread like yours, so they just close it. Being here late at night, when "business" is slower, I can usually spare a few minutes to type a response like this one, but when the site is hoppin' (daytime and weekends), Mod time has to be used where it will do the most good, which means tackling more serious problems.
In the future, for threads like the one in question, I would suggest posting it in the General Firearms Forum, or the Sights, Optics and Lasers Forum.

My dog is acting really weird tonight. She has been pacing. Sometmes whining, and has even let out a couple small growls. Not like something is outside, but like she is wondering about something. I know I'm jacking your thread, but I had to tell someone. Hope we ain't gonna have a big quake or something.

Now. In the past 10 minutes she has gone into the bedroom, came back out, laid down by the back patio door, back to the bedroom, and out again, and is now on the landing by the front door. it's getting a little unnerving.

Djniner thanks for the response, I was wondering if it was too general.
