TAS sights
Just wondering if anyone has used the TAS sight and if so pros and cons. Thanks

I tried them on my G19. My eyesight isn't the greatest and I felt they only work in fairly bright conditions. They outright suck when its dim. Interesting idea, but not for me.
If you want some good, fast acquisition sights try XS, either big dot or regular. I find them excellent in any light condition. I have several sets of trijicons I'd be willing to trade for XS.

I tried one about a year ago. I must have misread it because I thought it had tritium and it doesn't. The dot is rather small and didn't collect enough light for my tastes. The concept is different and kinda cool. I ended up sending it back for a refund and getting the Ameriglow Hackathorne setup for both my G21 and G30.

I've been trying to use them...not impressed. Like HGxyz said, okay in really bright light, but nothing else. They are definately not accurate enough for me allowing about 4 degrees of rotation in which they "look" aligned, but really are not. I'd almost rather have no sights.

Thanks. I just got my G17L which will be for target and maybe competition shooting. Just looking for ideas on a good target sight

Bo-Mar, Heinie, Dawson, Sevigny would be the logical options. Red or green FO front helps some, depending on your skill level and what type of shooting you plan on doing.

I tried them on my 26 and I just didn't like them the way I thought I would. I ended up selling them to somebody else.

So happy, I happened upon this thread. I too was looking into those sights. After reading, I have come to the conclusion that this is more gimicky than real.

Just ordered Warren Tactical plain rear with Tritium front mix.Worried these are not precise target sights or for aging eyes.Any comments? DOC

Word is that they are working on a model with a bigger dot and tritium as well.
