gen 4 23 oil in firing pin channel is this normal?

I bought a new gen 4 23 a mounth ago and when I took it apart the firing pin was soaked in oil. I was always told to keep area dry and always have in my glocks. Is ther a need for oil there or is this just for packing?

I've been leaving dry and have 500 rounds threw it so far no problems so just wondering

It should be dry. Strip the gun down. Clean it and reassemble.
