Kimber Ultra CDP II question (price)

Im looking at buying a kimber CDP II. I have found one thats in pretty good shape with a minor wear here and there. (little on front strap checkering, small mark on slide and the normal safety marks) Its an 04' gun and comes with 1 mag and box. In good condition whats this gun roughly worth? Prices seem to range so much on the CDP's.....HELP

This is a curious first post, but here's my take...

I don't buy small 1911s, but even if I did, it wouldn't be an older model. If it was last year's model in that condition, I'd say $800 tops.

I do alot of watching an not alot of posting...Whats the downside to the older models (04)? I always replace the springs etc on all the guns that I buy. The one Im refering to about 750 and its in pretty good shape. Dont see many CDP's regardless of year below 850....

Kimber external extractors were troublesome and earlier short barreled 1911s were not as good as the last couple of years, generally speaking.
