Have you ever thought of using sml-game blunt head instead of a field/target point?
I hunt sml-game from rabbit , coons and once a squirrel using the plastic blunt heads or custom heads produce from nickel plated 38spc/357magnum cases with one .33 buckshot install glue to a wooden shaft for my recurves.
This is a effective game head and with the buckshot the FOC stays much better and with higher effectiveness.
