I remember a Buffy episode where they spent the entire show frantically trying to prepare for the arrival of a really horrific demon. The problem was that they had very little info on it. They had a picture of it and some text under the pic that they couldn't translate.
They finally translated the text at the end of the show, as the demon materialized. The demon was indeed fierce looking, but it was only about three inches high. Turns out, the text translated as, "Shown Actual Size." Someone simply stepped on the demon and squashed it.
