The Sig 1911 is more 1911ish. In short 1911 frame and internals but the slide contour is in the fashion of their P22x series. When I looked at buying one I found a lot of 1911 holsters wont fit the Sig and not all holster manufacturers make one specific to the Sig so your choices are limited.
I really like them, and have heard they are great guns, just not traditonally styled 1911's.
