This is a special SAA version that Talo Inc. had commissioned Colt to do a 200-units run with. Naturally, I had to buy me a new watch to accompany a new gun. Why? Probably because chicks dig it.
The Colt Royal Blued finish is simply a sight to behold. I wish that I have a better camera and skills to capture this lustrious finish. The gun feels svelte yet solid in the hand unlike the clunker Ruger Blackhawks and Vaqueros. I'm fond of my Rugers but there is something that is magical about the SAA in the way it balances in your hand and points so well. I told my gun shop to be on the look out for a nickel plated SAA in .357 Magnum now (so that I can shoot .38 Special through it).
