We can't have LE "cherrypicking" what laws they will or will not enforce lest anarchy soon ensue. This is a very slippery slope and being LE does not = Constitutional lawyer, let alone some pseudo grand arbiter of justice. That's why we have a Court system in place.
That said, if one can't undo a great wrong at the ballot box then maybe it's time to reach for the cartridge box and change the Gov't.
