I have one and shot it a little bit. I did put a box of cheap Remington Bird shot through it with no problem. The recoil was more than I would have thought it would be.

I doubt you can touch one for less than $1000. I got mine very slightly used too. It had the box, choke tubes, paperwork and wrench.
