I'd rather have no finger grooves and rail. Just enjoy your Gen 2 perfection.
I'm in the process of removing them from my Gen 3 G19 (same frame) and when I'm done I'll prolly do my Gen 3 G23.
BTW: I've spent a bunch of time in Alaska, Juneau, Anchorage, Fairbanks and a few places in between. I can't think of a more beautiful place to live even in the winter. Great people and lots of fun things to do and places to see. If my wife could take the winter, I'd be there in a second.
